Well, in the wake of getting fifth in a slam at MRU, i will provide my six followers with another poem.
I am here to make you question. I am here to make you relax. I am the god you worship and I am the man in news paper who died last week. I am the Alpha. I am the Omega. I’m the delta and the beta. I’m everything you ever dreamed and I’m the nothing you’ve never thought about. I’m the loyalist. I am the betrayer. I’m the magician of old and scientist of new. I am the beggar, I am the thief, I am the shop keep, and the bard. I am ancient and I am fresh. I’m the book of knowledge and the tome of destruction. I can be here and I can be nowhere. I am the what, the who, the when, and the how. I am oblivion. I am saviour. I can taste sweet yet be bitter. I can taste bitter yet be sweet. I can travel with the wind or sit in the water like a stone. I can fight the tides and I can break to the waves. I am the wind in your sails and I am the ball and chain at your feet. I am all. I am nothing. I can do. I can. I am.
